Andrea Bocelli and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir
Here is a beautiful rendition of The Lord’s Prayer with Andrea Bocelli and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir–glorifying God is a beautiful thing. Christians everywhere, please note our love for the Savior. Members, enjoy. Ex-Mormons, please know that we love the Lord and His gospel, and hope you will come back to the fold.
I’ve been on a themed journey of late… Before Christmas, I asked the Lord several questions. I asked Him to help me be able to work for Him, to define success and see success in terms of His expectations for me, to teach me and share with me in ways that would enhance my ability to be closer to Him and keep Him close to us as we celebrated the holidays. Like many of you, I didn’t want this season to be about “things.” I ended up with a feast. I’ve received so much more than I asked for, and each recorded insight and impression has led to more. I have learned more about worshipping and praising God. I asked, again if He’d share more of what it looked like to glorify the Savior in my daily life. I saw Simeon and Anna and Mary cast in newer light and have felt the Savior’s love and voice as He continues to instruct me.
Most of all, I have come to know the Savior even better–His condescension, His humility, His desire to glorify His Father, and how I can begin to glorify Him more. I’ll share details in upcoming posts. I’m so glad I found that ex-mormon brochure in a Baptist Church…the negative claims were superfluous and it led me along in my journey to find the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.
How do you glorify God in your daily walk? Love to hear from you at km@moregood.com. I’ll share your compelling ideas.
